A privately held family group, headquartered in Cairo.
Purpose
We build organisations that solve meaningful problems. Every company in the group should improve people's lives in a way that can be stated plainly and demonstrated in practice.
Profit makes that possible. It is not the reason the group exists, and it is not the only measure by which we judge a business.
Why Egypt
We build here by conviction, not by default.
Egypt offers a domestic market of over one hundred million people, deep clinical and engineering talent, agricultural and industrial capacity at globally competitive cost, and a position at the meeting point of Africa, the Middle East and Europe. It is one of the most compelling places in the region to build a company, and it is where ours are built to stay.

The Gulf is our first market beyond Egypt — an extension of what already works here, entered only once a company is excellent at home.
Ownership and governance
The group is family owned and governed by a written constitution. Ownership and management are kept separate: holding a stake does not entitle anyone to run the business, and senior roles are filled on merit whether or not the candidate is family.
Major decisions sit with the board rather than any individual, with independent directors taking part in that oversight.
